Gold Nano particles are known for their ability to detect cancer cells. Using this property , laser is used to kill the cancer cells via targeted attack, much like targeted drug delivery. This paper also aims to overcome the drawbacks of Chemotherapy and provide an alternative for the same. The proposal has merit as technology is fast moving and can be possibly used to cure cancer as well. The basic idea is to inject gold nano particles in the human body which will latch onto the cancer cell. A radar like detection system will then detect the gold nano particles and intimate the laser system to shoot a laser pulse with the right amount of intensity, enough to kill the cancer cell only and not any of the neighboring cells. With this method, we not only save the good cells from being destroyed, but also aim to make it less painful and more affordable to the people.
