The module is basically an intelligent device installed in the car, which can communicate automatically to its server in emergency situations like: accidents and congestions. Some parameters may be monitored in individual car by authorities. Examples are over speed, tool pricing, congestion pricing etc. The device installed in the car is composed of a microcontroller that is acting as the brain of the device and it is responsible for taking inputs from the sensors in case of accident, over speed & congestions. In sensors mercury switch is used to detect the accident situation. Which when feel the vibration of severe kind, alerts the controller that there is an accident. If the driver is safe and does not need an ambulance services, he is provided with a switch to report to server about his safety. The IR sensor and an rpm meter’s observation are needed to determine congestion. The car ‘s rpm is being continuously monitored and when it is found in low range then an object (definitely a vehicle) is sensed in front of the car (in 1 meter range) with the help of IR sensors. The rpm meter is also used to detect over speed. That is when the certain range of rpm is exceeded the over speeding is reported to the server. The information sent to server in any case is car’s ID, car’s position and the reason of the message that may be accident, congestion or over speed. The server on the other hand is collecting all of these messages with the help of modem
