Through historical data analysis of rock burst accidents in coal mine, and based on EVIEWS established SARIMA model to predict the quarter number of rock burst accidents, which is the short-term forecast. By forecast the number of accidents in the next period, we can understand the development trend of rock burst safety production, at the same time some we can make prior speculations and estimation of the possible results. The results will convenient for the government and enterprises, according to the number of accidents, they can formulate corresponding policies in advance.
