A large amount of dust is generated during unloading from unloading pit, which seriously pollutes the roadway air. According to the actual situation of the unloading station, the k-ε double equation model was used to simulate the dust transport and concentration distribution in the roadway during unloading, and the movement law of dust particles was obtained. We also obtained the distribution of dust concentration of the plane on x = -15 and the line of y = 0 in breathing zone height at different times. Studies have shown that when unloading, a huge impact airflow is generated in the unloading pit. When the impact airflow rushes into the roadway, it carries a large amount of dust in the unloading pit and pollutes the air in the roadway. There is a large difference in dust concentration on various points of the longitudinal section of the downwind roadway. However, the value of the dust concentration on breathing zone height can be selected as the average dust concentration of the roadway. Spraying device should be installed on the falling ore surface and directly above the falling ore surface. Spraying time should not be lower than 120s. The “barrier surface” and “closed belt” formed by the air-water spray device can effectively prevent the dust from diffusing into the roadway.
