Numerical analysis of the influence of other combustible gases on the explosion characteristics of methane at constant volume, atmospheric pressure and high temperature

• Abstract: As one of the major coal mine disaster ,the sudden explosion of methane causes a lot of casualties and property loss .In this paper ,through Flacs software simulation study the volume fraction of C2H4,C2H6,H2 and coin five kinds of initial temperature (25℃ 60℃ 100℃ 140℃ 180℃ ) have different effects on the maximum explosion pressure and the temperature of methane. Study Show:At constant volume and room temperature,the maximum explosion temperature of methane increases with the increase of initial temperature, while the maximum explosion pressure decreases. In a positive oxygen balance, the maximum explosion pressure and temperature with the combustible gas volume fraction increases, while under the negative oxygen the balance is opposite
