On theoretical approach to condition of roadway rockburst based on strain softening and dilatancy

With the mining depth increase, some mine dynamic disaster are getting more and more serious, especially rockburst. And it is widely known that most of the rockburst occurs in the roadway, especially in the mining roadway in the range of supporting pressure. So the surrounding rock stress, strain and displacement of the elastic zone, plastic zone and rupture zone is derived, considering of strain softening, dialtancy characteristics and the residual strength. Based on the instability rockburst theory,considering of strain softening, dialtancy characteristics and the residual strength, the criterion for the roadway rockburst in the coal mine was obtained by the analytical analysis. The results of the analytical solution are more in line with the actual situation, and the findings presented in this study will contribute to the effective control of the coal mine roadway dynamic disaster.
