With the coal mine become larger and larger, and mining work moving forward, The ventilation network structure of the mine becomes more and more complex. That makes fine management for mine ventilation hard to adapt nowadays large-scale ventilation network. Mine ventilation can be divided in to safety sub-regions by analyzing the function and feature of each part in ventilation system. In this paper, a ventilation safety sub-region partition method based on ventilation basin and sensitivity of roadway was proposed. Specifically, by analyzing and summing up functional features of various parts of ventilation system, ventilation system can be can be decomposed into sub-regions which has internal interconnectedness, high similarity in ventilation safety and serving the same mining task. This safety sub-region can offer clearer perspective for ventilation analysis and modularization management. It is advantageous to find out the problem quickly by locate abnormal sub-region and formulate corresponding countermeasures. It will be useful for coal mine fine management and safety control.
