In the traditional goaf stability analysis, goaf numerical modeling is always simplified, which seriously affects the accuracy of the numerical simulation. In this paper, 3D laser scanner was utilized to accurately detect the goaf of “Four Area and One Spot”, and the surface topography with high accuracy was plotted by refining the satellite data. 3D visualization models of surface, underground and goaf were constructed in Surpac and creatively coupled with FLAC3D to carry out stability analysis, summarizing the principal stress distribution, velocity field and deformation law in different levels of the mine, and apparent ground pressure activity areas are delineated. The results show that roof fall and rib spalling are the main ground pressure activities in mine, and the mountain is stable as a whole, although small-scale subsidence has ever happened in surface.
