As we all know, teaching Chinese as a foreign language is a complicated and
cumbersome project. In the process of teaching, just with one simple method rarely, in most
cases, it is a combination of various teaching strategies, the same is true of Chinese
Characters teaching, which adopts various means, including multimedia, to fully mobilize
students' enthusiasm and initiative in learning Chinese Characters. In this way, the original
boring language class can become vivid and lively, creating favorable conditions for students
to learn Chinese well. I will mainly use Characters and Vocabulary teaching as examples to
elaborate as per belows.
First, Characters teaching
A: tracing source method
B: fun literacy teaching method
C: integration method of culture and Chinese characters
D: the exercises of Chinese Characters can also be entertaining
Second, Vocabulary teaching
A: Notional Words - You can use the intuitive method, the split method and context teaching
+ example teaching.
B: Function Words - Quantitative method, contrast method and discrimination method of
teaching. In the process of function words teaching, to make the hard things simple, to change
the abstract to the concrete should be one of the effective methods.
C: Vocabulary Memorization Method - Classification method, associative memorization
method, tracing source method.
