Extensible piezoelectric energy harvesting circuit based on synchronous electric charge extraction with single inductor

Piezoelectric energy harvesting is one of the research hotspots to solve the current wireless network
transmission node power supply. However, current research focuses on single piezoelectric transducer (PZT) energy harvesting. Extensible piezoelectric synchronous electric charge extraction circuit (E-SECE) is proposed in this paper. The proposed circuit has multiple pairs of positive and negative peak detection structures, sharing one inductor, freewheeling diodes and storage capacitors. It can realize the vibration energy capture of multiple PZTs at the same vibration frequency but different phases, which greatly improves the utilization of the inductor. And it does not contain a rectifying structure and can be self-powered. Double-PZTs E-SECE circuit energy
harvesting power can achieve 1.99 times than the single-PZT circuit. And the single-PZT circuit energy harvesting power can achieve 3.08 times than standard energy harvesting circuit(SEH).
