A reconfigurable low noise amplifier with sub-amplifier cascode miller compensation is proposed to obtain stability both in action potential (AP) and local field potential (LFP) applications. The phase margin of more than 60 degrees can be guaranteed in both two modes compared with traditional method. Simulations have been performed in standard 0.18μm technology parameters and the simulated characteristics of the proposed amplifier show that the input referred noise and the power consumption is 3.44/6.88μVrms and 2.48/5.46μW in both AP and LFP bands.
