Noise canceling technology is a promising mechanism to improve the noise performance of low noise amplifier (LNA). The conventional noise canceling LNAs suffer from a tradeoff between the noise figure (NF) and gain. Furthermore, the traditional noise canceling LNA designs ignored the noise from the auxiliary circuits. To further decrease the noise figure, a global noise canceling LNA is proposed in this work, which cancels the noise of the input stages and the auxiliary stages. This work realizes a low NF value of 1.93 dB, a gain of 12.3 dB, and a third-order input intercept point (IIP3) of -5.97 dBm.
