A voltage-programmed pixel circuit composed by five low temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) thin film transistors (TFTs) and two capacitors is presented for active-matrix organic light-emitting diode displays. The new circuit can eliminate the variation in the threshold voltage of the driving TFT, and the drop in the supply voltage in a single frame operation. The simulation results demonstrate that the relative current error rates are less than 2.2% with the threshold voltage variations ±0.5 V.
