Uniformity research of an advanced 31-inch 4K AMOLED display

This paper presents a 31-inch active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display with 4K resolution. To supply significant data signals, source chip on films (COFs) are placed on the top and bottom sides, respectively. Meanwhile, gate driver on array (GOA) circuits are placed symmetrically on this display to supply driving signals. Spice simulations are performed to study the uniformity of this display. It has been found out that the driving current uniformity over this display is below 1.89% under the condition of high gray. Moreover, the overall uniformity is below 21.57% under low gray. The simulation results indicate that the proposed structure is feasible for display manufacture.
