Enhance the Perovskite Solar Cell Performance through Treatment of TiO2 Electron Transporting Layer

Perovskite solar cells have gain increasing interests recently due to their high power conversion efficiency, tunable optoelectronics properties in various applications. In the perovskite solar cells, interface engineering play important roles in determining the final device efficiency and stability. In this study, we adopt TiCl4 treatment to reduce the surface roughness of TiO2 layer, improve the perovskite film quality, and the device efficiency significantly enhanced up to 15.9% compared to pristine TiO2 based devices (13.1%).
