Research On The Quick Coupler Mechanism Of Near-pig Receiver & Launcher

The quick coupler is the key component of the blind operation that the push rod and the plugging head need to be quickly connected and disconnected inside pipeline in near-pig receiver&launcher plugging operation process,and the internal integrated hydraulic system control the hydraulic circuit to switch on and off. In this paper,a new design scheme of quick coupler mechanism is putted forward. And according to the requirements of the operating mode, it adopts the "points to points" design structure, which improves the reliability of the quick coupler in the process of blind operation. Based on the design requirements of push rod stability, we determine the structure size of the push rod, and check the reliability of it under all the operating conditions. The results show that when the push rod under tension and compression loading, stress and strain of the push rod meet the requirements of working condition. Through the above research,the quick coupler provides technical support for the development of the near-pig receiver&launcher plugging work tools.
