Polymer capacitors with double-layered dielectrics have the great value of practical application. However, applied DC high voltages or high temperatures can lead to space charge and interface charge accumulation in double-layered dielectrics, resulting in distortion of internal electric field. In this paper, space charge and interface characterization of double-layered dielectrics composed of two identical materials ( total thickness less than 20μm ) were studied under different temperatures and DC voltages by thermal pulse method. Results show that as the temperature rises, interface is no longer regarded as a potential barrier to space charge transport, and electric field has no influence on barrier effect of interface.
