This paper presents a new type of AC impedance measurement standard (IMS) which can resolve the traceability problem of AC impedance who has any amplitude and angle. Between 100Hz to 1MHz, the new type of AC IMS,which is composed of AC impedance standard source and meter, can calibrate RLC digital meter, AC impedance and material impedance. By using direct measurement, substitution measurement and equipotential measurement, AC IMS can be traced to material impedancestandard, voltage ratio standard and phase standard. Thus the study can form a traceability chain of AC impedance. At the end, the measurement data is presented.
