Testing Technique to Enhance Quality of Embedded Software System

The increasing demands with respect to software engineering arise due to the growing complexity of embedded systems. This complexity leads to the development of such systems very exorbitant. In embedded system different modules are integrated and multiple tasks are executed in multi task environment. The complex structure of embedded system demands for the best testing technique. Approaches like existing and emerging simulation based offers refined form of testing and justify the authentication of control system designs. This paper is based on investigation of the different testing techniques in embedded system and proposed hybrid technique, capable enough to detect and prevent bugs and faults, and improving the overall quality of the system. Quality evaluation is done to highlight the impact of testing on the overall performance of the system.
