Statistical acceleration of protons in terms of micro-bubble implosion
micro-bubble implosion,ACCELERATION,High Energy Density Physics
Abstract Accepted
In micro-bubble implosion scheme [1], the bubble wall protons are subject to volumetric acceleration toward the center due to the spherically symmetric electrostatic force generated by hot electrons filling the bubble. Such an implosion can generate an ultrahigh density proton core of nanometer size on the collapse, which results in an ultrahigh electrostatic field to emit energetic protons in the relativistic regime. We have found that a single test particle, that enters of the bubble field, can be further accelerated when synchronizing with the bubble implosion. By repeating such accelerations in terms of bubble implosion, the test particle can increase its kinetic energy to an ultrahigh energy. Although the present study is primitive, it could be linked to reveal the unknown physics of the energy scaling of cosmic rays.
