Synthesis, structure and physical properties of FeN
high pressure,NPD,antiferromgnetic,semiconductor

We successfully synthesized the powder NaCl - type Fe2N3 first time in the world through high-pressure ion exchange reaction routes. We confirmed the structure of Fe2N3 when we performed the XRD and Room temperature NPD. We determined the magnetic properties via MPMS.we found the magnetic transition at TN = 167 K from paramagnetic to antiferromagnetic. Subsequently we also prepared the single crystal and the size in the range of 50-100 um and measured the electrical resistivity based on the single crystal by PPMS,there is apparently a semiconductor behavior.
