A Scheme to Monitor DC Voltage Transducer of HVDC links

There were some failures of DC voltage transducer for HVDC (UHVDC) links in the past decades. The failure of the transducer caused the fluctuation of DC voltage measurement which resulted in frequent adjustment of the firing angle and transformer taps, and finally shuted down the valves. So, the state monitor of DC voltage transducer is necessary. The paper presents a scheme which makes use of DC filter to monitor the state of the transducer.
