Abstract
The active power control makes wind turbine generators (WTG) have the ability to suppress the wind power fluctuations and relieve the system reserve burden. This paper proposes a robust reserve scheduling method that can consider the uncertainty of wind power and load with prediction error information given only, in which the WTG de-loading control is introduced and the robust constraints including the wind farm reserve and spinning reserve limits are formulated. Furthermore, the robust optimization model can be transformed into a certainty optimization counterpart based on duality theorem. The linear relaxation handling and the spatial branch-bound method are applied to achieve the global optimum. Finally, a modified IEEE 39-bus system with WTG integrated is used to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
