A fluid-solid coupling model was established based on the finite element theory for hoses with both ends fixed under a combined action of internal and external flow to study the modal analysis of different hose configurations under the action of internal and external flow as well as the universal dynamic characteristics of hose under different geometric positions and ocean currents. The finite element method and control variate method are applied to simulate and analyze the fluid-solid coupling mechanical properties of the hose system at different locations, the results indicate that: the vibration displacement of the hose will increase with the increase of the operating range of the collector, and the stress value of the hose also increases sharply with the increase of the outflow angle and then decreases slowly. In order to enhance the safety and stability of deep-sea mining system, this research will also deduce the optimal operating range of the ocean mining machine.
