Utilization of spin Seebeck effect which is a method to obtain clean energy from nature is attracting more and more attention now. In this paper, we investigate spin Seebeck effect as a relation of Metal/yttrium iron garnet (YIG) interfaces and Metal1/Metal2 interfaces on Gd3Ga5O12 (GGG) substrates by measuring spin Seebeck voltages based on spin Hall effect. It is found that spin Seebeck voltage is strongly related to metal/YIG interfaces and Pt/YIG interfaces show a much larger spin Seebeck voltage, indicating a higher spin injection efficiency than W/YIG interfaces, resulting the loss ratio of spin current flowing through W/YIG interfaces is approximate twice than Pt/W interfaces, even though W supplies a 10 times spin Hall angle than Pt. Meanwhile, a similar amount of spin current loss, which is observed in Pt/W and W/Pt interfaces will further influence the spin Seebeck voltage, respectively.
