Abstract: For coal underground transportation, the reloading system produces serious dust, and the existing dust removal technology has low dust removal efficiency and cannot meet the requirements of the existing standards. This paper proposes a new type of vortex blowing dust removal technology. The principle of dust control is studied by numerical simulation. The results show that most of the dust particles are collected by the vortex. By controlling the blowing and suction ratio of the vortex blowing and suction technology, the particle size range of the dust collected by the vortex blowing and suction technology is controlled. The highest vortex performance corresponds to the best blowing ratio of 4.814. Experimental comparison shows that the cyclone suction technology has better dust removal performance, and it can reproduce the dust in the system with a particle size of less than 50 microns. Field tests show that the dust removal efficiency of the vortex blowing and suction technology is 91.25%, and the dust escape rate is reduced by 82.36%.
