Joint Waveform and Window Function Design for Radar Sensing

Both low sidelobe level and narrow mainlobe are commonly expected for the autocorrelation function of the transmitted waveform to improve the resolution of the pulse compression (PC) in radar sensing. In this paper, we present a joint waveform and window function design method to achieve this purpose.
Numerical examples demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.
