The design of the array configuration for holographic millimeter-wave imaging determines the final image. A large number of array elements lead to high costs and long scan times when using the scanned-plane array. In order to solve these defects, a cross-array configuration for holographic imaging is proposed. The cross-array has the advantages of a small number of array elements and low cost, and can realize three-dimensional holographic imaging quickly. The feasibility of the cross array holographic imaging is proved by comparing the ambiguity function, resolution and array spacing conditions of the two array configurations. The point targets simulations verify the effectiveness of two array configurations holographic imaging.
