To realize the broadband signal received by the sparse array form a constant beamwidth in the different frequency and different beam pointing angles, a Frequency and Steering-Invariant Beam-forming (FSIB) optimization algorithm based on Compressed Sensing (CS) is proposed. By virtual array expansion, compress-ible signal reconstruction, weighted vector calculation, and FSIB optimization design. The criterion of Minimum Mean Square Error(MMSE) of the design and reference mainlobe to ensure the sidelobe level is minimum. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve better performance of frequency and steering-invariant constant beamwidth with fewer array ele-ments.
