Research on the Control Strategy of Reducing Wind Power Planning Deviation Based on Hybrid Energy Storage

The inherent randomness and volatility of wind power make it difficult to strictly follow the dispatch plan. For this reason, a hybrid energy storage system is proposed to reduce the deviation of the wind power plan. The control strategy uses wavelet packet decomposition to divide the power deviation into low-frequency components and high-frequency components, which are respectively reduced by the battery and super capacitor; Fuzzy control is used to adaptively control the state of charge (SOC) of energy storage. The results of cases show that the proposed control strategy can reasonably allocate power and effectively reduce wind power planning deviation, while ensuring that the SOC of the energy storage system is maintained within a reasonable range. It provides reference for the configuration of energy storage equipment for wind farms.
