Abstract
In recent years, the multi-module motor becomes more and more popular because of its advantage in control freedom. In the multi-module motor system driven by paralleled inverters, the carrier phase-shift modulation algorithm can change the phase of the radical electromagnetic force between the motor modules in high-frequency, which can change the motor vibration characteristics. This paper firstly analyzes the relationship between carrier shifted-angle and the radial electromagnetic force of the motor, theoretically. Then, the motor vibration experiments are implemented which   obtains the vibration distribution of the multi-module motor under different carrier shifted-angles. According to theoretical analysis and experimental results, we can get the vibration characteristics and mechanism of multi-module motors with different carrier shifted-angles, which provide a new viewpoint   for the further research on vibration reduction methods of multi-module motors.
