Abstract
The wireless transmission of near-bit signal can improve the accuracy of drilling trajectory control and increase the drilling speed, thereby bringing huge economic benefits. This paper establishes a wireless transmission model of magnetic field signals near the drill bit through ANSYS software to conduct finite element analysis. Through the controlled variable method, study the influence of the coil core and the coil cover on the magnetic field transmission performance. It is also pointed out that the slit cutting treatment of the coil cover can effectively reduce the eddy current loss, thereby improving the magnetic field transmission performance. At the same time, slit cutting can significantly increase the range of selectable excitation frequencies.
