Dynamic modeling of complex spatial fluid-conveying pipeline based on transfer matrix method

Complex spatial fluid-conveying pipeline is widely used in aero-engines. Most of the previous studies focus on a simple fluid-conveying pipeline, but the dynamic modeling of the complex spatial pipeline is still insufficient. Therefore, a dynamic model of a complex spatial fluid-conveying pipeline is derived based on the transfer matrix method in this paper. Firstly, the fluid-structure interaction models of straight pipe segment and continuous curved pipe segment are given, and then the total transfer matrix model is constructed by splicing pipe segments. Finally, the established model is verified by hammering experiments of free and constrained modes of the spatial fluid-conveying pipeline. The proposed method can provide an efficient solution for dynamic analysis of the spatial fluid-conveying pipeline system.
