A prediction model of UHV substation sound source based on vibration signal is proposed. The measured surface vibration of key noise sources such as main transformer and high-voltage reactor is taken as the acoustic calculation boundary, and the actual measurement of the size, height and relative position of each building in substation is taken as the modeling basis of acoustic model. The radiated noise prediction model of substation is established to predict the distribution state of environmental noise by using acoustic boundary element method. The results show that the noise in the substation have obvious interference effect in the transmission process, which leads to the obvious stripe characteristics of the sound field distribution in the substation. The measured sound field distribution characteristics near the high-voltage reactor and main transformer in the substation confirm that there are obvious directivity, nonuniformity and acoustic interference in the process of sound propagation in the substation. The measured results of sound field distribution are highly consistent with the predicted results. The prediction method not only provides a reliable theoretical support for the study of substation acoustic environment, but also provides a new solution for the optimization of substation environmental sound field.
