Abstract
The low-frequency vibration of the propulsion shaft caused by the excitation force of the propeller becomes one of the main components of the ship's acoustic radiation, which is difficult to effectively suppress, and has become an important issue that restricts the improvement of the ship's acoustic stealth performance. Therefore, this paper proposes an electromagnetic actuator-based ship propulsion shafting lateral vibration transmission control method. This method uses adaptive control means to control the lateral vibration of the ship’s propulsion shafting intermediate bearing seat to restrain the propulsion shaft from being subjected to lateral vibration. The excitation force of the propeller is transmitted to the shell through the intermediate bearing. The results show that the use of active inertial actuators to control the vibration of the intermediate bearing seat has a significant suppression effect on the lateral vibration of the ship's propulsion shafting, and can effectively reduce the surface vibration of the hull.
