Abstract
In order to reduce the influence of end effect for permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM), a hybrid strategy of Tabu search (TS) and ON/OFF method was applied to the topological optimization in the end teeth of PMLSM in this paper. Then the thrust ripple curves of the original model and optimized model are compared by FEA and the results in this case study indicate that the algorithm operates well.
