The reactive power regulation capability of renewable energy stations is a key factor affecting the regional voltage stability level and the level of renewable energy consumption. The dynamic reactive power compensation technology based on the Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) has become a guaranteed renewable energy source. An important means for reliable grid connection and stable operation. With the rapid development of renewable energy and the wide application of dynamic reactive power compensation devices, whether the model and parameters of the dynamic reactive power compensation device of renewable energy stations are accurate is related to the credibility of the power system simulation calculation, which in turn affects this behavior. Therefore, the research on the model and parameter identification of the dynamic reactive power compensation device of the renewable energy plant is very important to the safety, stability and economic operation of the power system.

At present, the actual measurement modeling research of the power system mainly focuses on the generator, the excitation system, the prime mover and its regulation system, and the electric load. However, there are relatively few studies on the measured modeling of dynamic reactive power compensation devices. In the simulation calculation of the power system, the dynamic reactive power compensation device usually adopts a highly simplified model, or even ignores it. The accuracy and applicability of the model are limited, which directly affects the reactive power voltage regulation capability of renewable energy stations and the consumption of renewable energy. There is a big difference in the characteristics of the actual equipment, which may cause the calculation results to be inconsistent with the actual situation, and the related grid planning and operation will lose the basis, and the grid operation will face huge hidden dangers.

In summary, in the field of power system field measurement modeling research, there is a lack of field measurement modeling technology for dynamic reactive power compensation devices of renewable energy stations, which cannot meet the requirements of accurate power system modeling and safe and stable operation of large power grids. The operation of the power grid will face huge hidden dangers, and there is an urgent need to study the model and parameter technology of dynamic reactive power compensation devices for renewable energy stations.
