Abstract:The superconducting magnetic energy storage system can store electric energy for a long time, efficiently and losslessly. It has the advantages of fast response speed, high power density and high efficiency. It has important application value in the field of microgrid. Firstly, the basic principles of superconducting magnetic energy storage systems are sorted out in detail, and secondly, the research status of superconducting magnetic energy storage systems in the field of microgrid to solve the random problems of micro power supply, short-circuit faults, and grid-connected/islanding mode switching problems are summarized and summarized. Finally, the future development of superconducting magnetic energy storage systems in the field of microgrids is prospected from three aspects: large-capacity high-temperature superconducting magnet technology, hybrid superconducting energy storage devices, and new research directions of superconducting magnets.
