An electric motor-driven scooter is expected to be a solution for the environmental issue because of high-efficiency and no air-pollution. However, since battery charging takes labor and time, diffusion of electric scooters is limited. Described is a newly developed dynamic wireless power transfer electric scooter using EDLC storage device in this paper. A noble type of single-ended inverter with a SiC-MOSFET is simple, low cost, small size, light weighted and high efficiency, furthermore it can operate stably under very rapid load variation.
