Abstract -- As an important power equipment for control and protection, the overheating state of distribution switchgear during operation may lead to safety problems such as fire and explosion. This article adopts multiple physical field coupling finite element model, we simulate the temperature field distribution within the switchgear, study the temperature distribution under the running state of distribution switchgear, according to the simulation combined with engineering practice to draw hot temperature sensor location, the sensor data are accurate judgment, according to the sensor data to digital twin model. Simulation mode of low-voltage switchgear sensors in different packaging, it is concluded that the influence of different packaging way on temperature measurement accuracy, put forward a kind of suitable for distribution switchgear sensor encapsulation way, decorate for the plum blossom contact encapsulation of the temperature sensor is improved, the improved temperature sensor encapsulation of data reliability and working life have certain to improve. A passive wireless temperature measurement system for switchgear based on radio frequency technology is developed, which is used for temperature state monitoring of distribution equipment. The problems of power supply life, lead creepage risk and wiring installation of sensing equipment are reduced by passive wireless method. Study the sensing, communication and packaging technology of the sensor equipment in the system, and design the working flow of the system operation. The actual operating environment test and performance and function test of the system are carried out, and the test results show that the system is suitable for temperature monitoring of switch cabinets, which has a promoting significance for the intelligent and wireless sensor nodes of smart distribution network, as well as the self-energy and ad-hoc network.
