Analysis of Subsynchronous Resonance in PMSG-Based Wind Farm

This paper provides an eighth-order state-space mathematical model of PMSG-based wind farm, including the GSC, GSC controller, and PLL model. Based on this model, the SSR performance of PMSG-based wind farm are analyzed by eigenvalue analysis method and participation factor analysis method. The results show that different control system parameters of the PMSG-based wind farm can greatly influence the SSR characteristics.
