In order to broaden the application of Z-source inverter, an enhanced switched inductor quasi-z-source inverter (SL-qZSI) with high voltage gain is proposed in this paper. By using the switched inductor cascade technology and structural transformation for the switched inductor Z-source inverter, it not only obtains higher voltage rise capacity, but also has lower capacitor voltage stress and certain ability to suppress start-up impact, so as to further strengthen the circuit stability. The working principle of the proposed inverter is deeply analyzed and its performance is compared. In the aspect of control, space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is used to control it without increasing the number of switching actions. Finally, the correctness and feasibility of the proposed inverter are verified by Matlab / Simulink software and experimental platform.
