Gas chromatography is an important method to monitor and analyze the working state of transformers. In this paper, we reported a novel way to fabricate ZnO-ZnSnO3 heterojunction film sensor via the magnetron sputtering method. It exhibited a response of 52.19 to 100 ppm H2 at the temperature of 220 °C. The response and recovery time are 37 s and 12 s, respectively. Meanwhile, it also showed a good selectivity and long-term stability to H2. The hydrogen sensing mechanism is attributed to the synergistic effect between ZnO and ZnSnO3 heterojunction structures which enhanced the resistance modulation range.
