Cone-beam computerized tomography (CBCT) has been gaining significant attention as a crucial supplement radiographic technique in clinics. Dual-tube dual-energy CBCT techniques are characterized by data acquisition at two different energy spectra. The reconstructed data from dual-tube dual-energy were weighted on the varying cone angle. That effectively reduces cone angle artifact suppression and expands the coverage of the CBCT reconstruction. Meanwhile, dual-tube dual-energy CBCT with its unique advantages can also efficiently reduce metal artifact.
