Two phases of hydrate nucleation and growth are extremely crucial in exploring the crystallization process of natural gas hydrates and critical to promote or restrain the kinetics of this process. However, although notable investigations on the influence of asphaltene on hydrate formation have been presented by numerous authors over the past two decades, aspects related to asphaltene on hydrate nucleus formation and growth processes, including growth rate and induction time, have not been adequately elucidated, and studies quantifying the kinetic of asphaltene on gas hydrate nucleus formation are at a comparatively early stage of evolution. Associated Langmuir isothermal adsorption theory with Ward-Tordai adsorption-diffusion control equation for non-ionic surfactants at the interface quantified the adsorption of asphaltenes at the oil-water interface.
