ABSTRACT

Far-reaching Sea wind farms has unique advantages in wind power resources. So semi-submersible wind turbines will have more economic advantages in deep water. In this paper, the experience formula is used to calculate for wind, wave and current load according to Chinese ocean conditions. The tension of mooring lines of this wind turbine are analyzed by OrcaFlex. Then numerical analysis model of the wind turbine was established by ABAQUS, and statics analysis was carried out. Finally, fatigue prediction was performed with FE-safe. Strength and stiffness of the wind turbine meet the requirements, and the service life is 84 years.
