Abstract
In this paper, we aim to improve the utilization rate of renewable energy, and reduce the power consumption cost of intelligent community with the help of energy storage units. Considering the stochastic characteristics of the renewable energy and the load demand, we formulate a stochastic optimization problem to minimize the time average power cost while meeting the maximum delay demand. Using Lyapunov stochastic optimization theory, we first transform the NP-hard stochastic optimization problem into a series of linear optimization problems, in which the allocation strategy of elastic load is optimized for each time slot. Simulation results show that our proposed approach can effectively reduce the time average cost of power consumption.
