Abstract
As wind power plays an increasingly important role in the power system, it is of great practical significance to study the power flow calculation with wind turbines. In this paper, a mathematical model of asynchronous wind turbines considering the system frequency is proposed, and applied to the full-characteristic power flow calculation considering the power generation frequency of each synchronous generator. It is verified with the conventional power flow algorithm including wind turbines, and the feasibility of the proposed method is proved by comparing the calculation results.
