Abstract
The maglev train is a large inertia system. In order to improve the dynamic response of the train speed, it is usually necessary to add feedforward compensation with a mass term to the speed loop. However, the mass of maglev trains changes as passengers get on and off. In this paper, a fuzzy control strategy is proposed to estimate the mass of the maglev train, which avoids the problem that the mass of the feedforward compensation differs greatly from the actual mass of the train, resulting in poor train speed control. This control strategy can reduce the cost of installing weight-measuring sensors. The effectiveness of the strategy proposed in this paper is proved by the simulation results.
