Abstract
In the high-end manufacturing industry, a large number of motors and their control systems are used. In order to make the motor system operate normally and not be affected by grid fluctuations. The bus voltage model predictive control (BV-MPC) is used to improve the response speed of bus voltage fluctuations and smooth the fluctuations for grid output. To compensate for the delay of the system, the two-step prediction is proposed based on the one-step prediction for optimization. The results of the simulations show that the model predictive control (MPC) has good response speed. Finally, an experimental platform is established and the experimental results demonstrate the MPC of the bus voltage can further suppress the voltage fluctuation during sudden changes and improve the dynamic response on the DC side.
